The final round of the Real Figures Don’t F.O.L.D Knockout Stage begins today, and Round 8 offers the last chance for Acts to secure a place in the Finals.
The closing Round features four unique solo Acts with a sharp contrast of styles and personalities, ranging from polished EDM and introspective hip hop to laid-back soft rock and globally minded J-Pop.
Round 8 carries the added weight of anticipation, as fans and supporters await news of which Acts will move one step closer to victory.
Round 8: Four Distinct Paths, One Final Opportunity
Leading the Round is GRMLN, a highly successful EDM producer and performer with a sharp instinct for trends and youth culture. He enters the Round with the confidence of a major contender.
Alongside him is hip-hop producer Loop Theory, a relatively new signing to CATAWOL Records, whose respect for craft and focus on production methods have made him a compelling underdog.
Miles Everly offers something altogether different: a soft rock performance shaped by calm, understated confidence. He has become one of the Contest’s most intriguing wildcards, notably because of his disinterest in winning.
Completing the Round and the Knockout Stage lineup is SoraNami, the J-Pop sensation known for her work on hit anime series and OVA movies. She provides the fourth and final non-English entry in the Contest.
CATAWOL Records on the Importance of the Moment
The lineup epitomises what Real Figures Don’t F.O.L.D has become: a Contest where artistry, personality and purpose collide on the same Stage, and even the quietest performance can become decisive.
A spokesperson for CATAWOL Records expressed the label’s pride in seeing the Knockouts Stage conclude with such a varied and compelling Round.
Round 8 brings together four very different Acts, with their own strengths, stories and supporters. That is exactly what this Contest was built to celebrate. We’ve been thrilled by the response to the Knockouts Stage, and just like the fans and supporters, we can’t wait to see what happens.
The Road to the Finals Ends Here
Round 8 is without a doubt the decisive turning point in the Contest. This is the last opportunity for fans to influence which Acts proceed to the Finals, and judgment will take place at this time next week.
If you haven’t already, cast your vote for the Acts you want to go through on the Contest page. The deadline for votes is 0859 GMT on June 26.
Fans are encouraged to use their vote in this final Round, and to stay tuned as Real Figures Don’t F.O.L.D moves toward its next major chapter.
